Julie Duryea of Souk, a coworking space that has supported the tech and design communities over the last five years, announced today that they will be closing July 31st.

She cites a personal move to Bend, the loss of several anchor tenants, and the space’s lease ending as the primary reasons for closing the business, but is offering to work with community members who wish to re-open this or another coworking space in some form.

Alex Linsker, who has been working on programs to enhance Souk’s usefulness as a tech and startup incubator, says he will continue working on community space issues.
