After talking with numerous venues of all sorts (companies, universities, hotels, event spaces), I have been unable to secure a venue which would accommodate our crowd (175-250 people) without locking us into a catering arrangement which would greatly increase the costs of the event. Many of you have offered various options but after talking with quite a few folks, none of those options have panned out.

The shortage of suitable meeting and event spaces for user groups and unconferences has been an ongoing community concern.
